Liebherr PR 776 G8 Dozer | Construction Equipment

The PR 776 G8 crawler dozer has an operating weight range from 142,743 to 161,354 pounds, ideally suited for mining applications, according to Liebherr. The dozer can also be operated by remote control, using LiReCon, the company’s teleoperating system.

The 768-horsepower Liebherr dozer has hydrostatic travel drive that allows it to move up to 6.5 mph. The dozer offers Eco mode, which enables operators to choose between high performance or maximum efficiency.

Blade capacity ranges from 24.2 to 28.8 cubic yards.

PR 776 G8 dozer cabs include a single joystick, as well as 360-degree blade and ripper visibility. The ROPS/FOPS is integrated into the cab structure, and has large panoramic windows.

Daily maintenance and service work can be accomplished at optional ground-level service stations. The station located on the side of the dozer’s electronics contains an access light switch, an emergency stop button, and a ground level lockout switch. On the side of the fluids, service personnel can access three quick-change couplings for the engine, splitter box, and hydraulic oil; and a quick refueling coupling.

The LiReCon system consists of the Liebherr Remote Control teleoperation stand (shown), a state-of-the-art operator workspace with all required controls, and onboard dozer installations: cameras for all different angles and views, microphones for recording machine sounds, radio link receiver, and transmitter.

The high-resolution main screen provides a complete view on the job site and around the dozer. The optional active person recognition system identifies people and obstacles in the work area and protects the dozer from damage. Liebherr Remote Control allows fast shift changes between operators and also reduces idle and down time. As the operator is no longer tied to the machine, Liebherr Remote Control also enables customers to open up new extraction areas in danger zones. Thus, extends the range of applications for Liebherr mining dozers.
